Here's a brief biography—in case you're writing a book report or something. Also, links.

I'm RJ Young. I tell stories. I make radio. I make films. I write books. My memoir Let It Bang is about race, guns and America. It's about my journey to become an NRA certified pistol instructor—as a black man. Buy it. Read it. Then let's talk about it.

I'm on YouTube. I talk about sports, race and culture. I've also got a podcast those things too. Oh, yeah I'm also a national radio host at ESPN. Wild, right? I write about sports, mostly here. Did I mention I like sports? I won $40,000 for student loan debt relief from a beer company for a 3-minute short film about why I was inspired to go to college.

I earned a bachelor's degree at the University of Tulsa, a master's degree at the University of Oklahoma. I don't like it when my socks get wet. I had something else witty to say, but then I wrote it down.
